MILFORD, MA — Milford Regional Medical Center enacted new policies on Thursday to limit the spread of the new coronavirus to patients being treated at the hospital. The policies limit who can visit the hospital.

As of Thursday, visitors not allowed into the hospital include:

  • Anyone under age 15
  • People with respiratory illnesses
  • Anyone who has had contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19
  • Anyone who traveled recently to Italy, Iran, China, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, or Japan
  • People who attended the Biogen conference in Boston in February

The hospital will still allow visitors, but only one at a time. Only the partner of a new mother is allowed to visit her in the maternity ward.
