MILFORD, MA — Milford High School students have some extra funds to maintain a fun and safe post-prom celebration thanks to District Attorney Joseph Early. Early presented the high school with a grant on Tuesday to support fun and safe post-prom activities to students. This year, Early’s office has given more than $20,000 to provide programming for sixteen different schools across the county.

“I’m so proud that our office is able to support Milford High School in their efforts to
prevent drinking and driving on graduation night,” Early said. “I think it’s so important that
we do everything we can to make sure that our kids have safe, fun post-prom and post-
graduation activities.”

In an effort to promote youth safety, Early and his Community Outreach team have been presenting to teens and their parents across the county about several issues that directly impact students. Some of these issues include the dangers of mixing drugs and alcohol, social host awareness for parents, and distracted driving.
