Milford Man Receives Deadline for Repairing Condemned Home

If the deadlines are not met, the man will be kicked out of his home.

An elderly and disabled veteran on Tomaso Road must fix his house or he will be removed by a Worcester Housing Court judge.

David Timpan was told that he has a week to get his hot and cold water running and have a working toilet, sink, and shower. The roof, described as dilapidated and leaking, must be repaired in two weeks. The stacks of hoarded items in his house must be gone in three weeks and the trash in his yard must be removed in about a month according to the Milford Daily News.

After Milford fire responded to a call at his home in April, a firefighter reported the house to the Board of Health, who condemned the property. Some improvements have been made including cleared walkways, a new start case to the back door, and running cold water to a sink and toilet in the basement.
