Milford Man Threatened To Kill Neighbor's Dog: Police

The neighbor told police the man said "If you dog does anything to my dog, I'm going to f***ing kill him."

MILFORD, MA — A Milford man threatened to kill his neighbor's dog on Wednesday, according to police. The neighbor called police after his afternoon stroll down Columbus Avenue in town turned tense. Rorne Dias-Gomes was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.

The neighbor told police he was walking his dog along Columbus Avenue when he passed Gomes' home and Gomes' dog came running out into the yard, barking. The neighbor told police he saw Gomes run into his house and then run to his pickup truck to grab a grey case, which the neighbor believed to have a gun inside. Holding the case, Gomes told the man "If you dog does anything to my dog, I'm going to f***ing kill him," the neighbor told police.

When officers got to the home, Gomes was doing yard work and they approached him at gun point and arrested him. They searched his car and found the grey case the neighbor mentioned and inside was a .45 pistol and a magazine with five rounds of ammunition.
