Milford Nissan Opens
A Nissan dealership opened in Milford Monday, with 40 used cars on the lot and 165 new models are on the way.

opened its doors to the public Monday, following an extensive renovation of an existing structure at 320 E. Main St.
The dealership opened with 40 hand-picked, used models from 2003 to 2010, said Jeffrey Batta, the general manager. More than 165 new cars will be delivered soon.

Among the models most in demand: the Nissan Altima sedan, a consistently top-rated vehicle for safety and reliability, and the Nissan Rogue, a four-cylinder, all-wheel drive, crossover sport utility vehicle.
has 26 employees, including six technicians who will complete repairs and provide warranty work on cars in the dealership's 20 service bays.

The will be open seven days a week, Batta said. Renovation of the building began three months ago, and is expected to be completed soon.
