Milford Police Arrest Local Man on Drug, Firework Charges

A local man was arrested on Tuesday and charged with various charges of drug possession as well as possession of fireworks, Milford Police said in a statement Wednesday.

Milford officers on Tuesday responded to the Prospect Heights area for a report of a man who had broken into his girlfriend’s residence and allegedly stole a necklace.

After investigating, police were able to locate the suspect, Angelo Pisani, 25, as he was walking near Milford Town Hall, where officers arrested him on various charges. Police said they also inspected his vehicle and located 44 grams of hashish; a search warrant obtained by two Milford detectives and police subsequently seized two electronic scales, baggies and fireworks.

Pisani was charged with breaking and entering day time for a felony, larceny of more than $250, possession of a Class C substance, possession of a Class C substance with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of fireworks, Milford police said.
