Milford Police Log: Driver Hit Fire Hydrant

Tuesday, Dec. 23
At 8:17 a.m., a caller reported that a black vehicle was speeding on Westbrook Street. The suspect vehicle was not located.
At 11:42 a.m., military vehicles were seen off to the side of the road before Exit 18. State Police were notified.

At 1:36 p.m., a vehicle was seen next to a white trash bag on the side of Birch Street by a swamp. It was suspected that the driver was dumping trash into the swamp.

At 9:43 a.m., a caller stated someone vandalized his mother’s mailbox and driveway.
At 1:29 p.m., a caller reported he had money stolen out of his car after it was towed to Art’s Towing.
At 5:32 p.m., a driver of a black Mercedes struck a fire hydrant on Hayward St.
