Milford Police: Report Of Hooded Person Shining Flashlight in A Residence

Wednesday, Nov. 12

At 1:33 a.m., a woman called to report a person in a hood shining a flashlight into her residence.

At 6:51 a.m., downed wires were reported near Water and Thayer streets.

At 11:44 a.m., a caller told police he received a scam phone call in which he was told his father was being held hostage and would be killed if the son didn’t send money.

At 12:28 p.m., a caller from Gasco Auto Service said a male customer had received his inspection sticker and had other work done to his car, but had left without paying. The customer was located and said there was a misunderstanding and he would return to pay his bill.

At 4:21 p.m., a man called to report he was attacked by a dog while walking his dog on Pleasant Street. The man was not hurt.
