Milford Police: Road Rage; Rabid Skunk; $12,000 Scam

Wednesday, Nov. 19
At 7:31 a.m., a caller reported a driver followed his the caller’s into the Shaw’s parking lot on Prospect Street. The other driver got out and began yelling at the caller.
At 8:05 a.m., a leaking hydrant on East Main Street was causing a sheet of ice to form on the roadway.

At 10:40 a.m., a caller reported a rabid skunk in the Rite Aid parking lot.
At 12:16 p.m., a man called to report he found a box while digging in his backyard on Poplar Street. Police responded and advised the caller to contact Dig Safe.

At 4:44 p.m., a woman came into the station to report she was scammed out of $12,000 when a caller claimed to be her grandson and be in jail.
