Milford Pumpkin Stroll Set for Oct. 24
Prizes will be awarded to the most creative pumpkin carvers and kids will be able to trick or treat.

Hundreds of jack-o-lanterns and costumes are coming to Milford a week early.
On Oct. 24, the Milford Pumpkin Scroll will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Plains Park, Lions Club Pavilion on Cedar Street.
Those wishing to carve pumpkins will need to drop off their pumpkins at Plains Park between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Three $25 gift cards will be awarded for the scariest, funniest and most creative pumpkins. Prizes will be awarded at 7 p.m. (pumpkin carvers must be present to win).

At 6 p.m., guests are encouraged to dress up in their costumes and head over to the courts at 6 p.m. to view the illuminated jack-o-lanterns. Children can visit trick or treat tables sponsored by local businesses for free goodies.
The event is free of charge. There will be a collection box will be available for anyone wishing donate nonperishable food items to local food pantries.
