Milford Regional Needs Medical Supply Donations
As coronavirus cases in the region increase, Milford Regional Medical Center needs key supplies like masks and nasal swabs.
MILFORD, MA — Like many hospitals in the area, Milford Regional Medical Center is in need of key supplies as coronavirus cases rise in the region.
The hospital on Friday put out a call for donations that doctors and nurses need to fight coronavirus, including:
- Surgical procedure masks with elastic ear loops
- NIOSH approved N95 masks and face shields
- Impervious isolation gowns
- Nasopharyngeal swabs
Milford Regional is not the only hospital experiencing a shortage of supplies. The MetroWest Medical Center, which includes Framingham Union and Leonard Morse hospitals, is experiencing a "severe" shortage of supplies.
