Milford Rotary to Hold Red Cross Swim Registration Saturday

The Milford Rotary Club will hold registration for its annual Red Cross swim program this Saturday, June 28 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Fino Field Pool, located at 80 Granite St. 

Classes begin on Monday, July 7 and run through Friday, July 18. Participants can choose either a 9:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. class. Lessons will cost $25 per child or $60 per family. All students must at least be registered for kindergarten  as of September 2014, according to the MRC.

"The swim program is one of the most successful programs run and subsidized by the Milford Rotary Club," Mike Kaplan, Program Chairman, said in a statement. "More than 12,539 kids  have participated in the program since it began over 50 years ago and we hope a lot more take advantage of the low rates for this very important program by signing up on Saturday, June 28."
