MILFORD, MA—Voters turned out for the Massachusetts state primary election on Thursday, Sept. 8, electing state representatives, state senators, councillors, sheriffs and other state positions. In Milford, there were no contested races, and voter turnout was low.
Of the 17,488 registered voters in Milford, 1,148 votes were cast, accounting for seven percent of voters in town. Of those voters, 857 were democrats and 288 were republicans.

State Senator: Ryan C. Fattman, 271 of 288 votes cast
State Representative: Susan Edmondson, 246 of 288 votes cast
Sheriff: Lew Evangelidis, 251 of 288 cast
There were no contestants in the Green Rainbow or Independent party.
