Milford Teacher Exposed To Coronavirus Likely Escapes Infection
A member of the Woodland Elementary School teacher's household was thought to have been exposed to COVID-19.

MILFORD, MA — A Milford elementary school staff member who was reportedly exposed to the new coronavirus may have escaped infection, according to town health officials.
A person in the Woodland Elementary staff member's home was possibly exposed to COVID-19, but that person has since tested negative. No other person connected to Woodland has tested positive so far.
Milford had one person still under quarantine as of Wednesday morning, according to health officials.

Milford Public Schools closed all buildings in the district last Wednesday for cleaning. Since then, Gov. Charlie Baker has ordered all public and private schools in Massachusetts closed through the first week of April.
As of Tuesday evening, a total of 218 people in Massachusetts have either confirmed COVID-19 or tested presumptive positive. Eight of those people live in Worcester County. Three live in Worcester and one in Rutland, health officials in those communities have said. Middlesex County has the highest number of cases at 89.
