Milford Town Hall Will Reopen Next Week
Milford's main municipal building closed in early March as coronavirus began sweeping the state.

MILFORD, MA — After almost four months of being closed, Milford Town Hall will reopen in full on July 6, town officials said Wednesday.
Milford Town Hall shut down on March 13 — along with schools and the library — as a safeguard against coronavirus, which was then just emerging in Massachusetts.
Although Town Hall is reopening in full, town officials are urging residents to stay away if they can to avoid indoor crowding.

"Although all departments will be open, we encourage residents to continue to conduct business remotely whenever possible," the town said in a statement. "We are implementing a number of measures to ensure the safety of all employees and visitors to the Town Hall, including social distancing and PPE requirements, enhanced cleaning protocols, and capacity limitations."
Some town facilities are still closed as of this week, including the library and the senior center.
