Milford TV Inks New Deal with Town

Milford TV will continue to provide the town with programming for the foreseeable future.

Milford TV will be the town’s cable access network for at least another five years.

Last week the television network, town, and cable providers agreed on a new five-year according to the Milford Daily News.

In a report to the selectmen, Milford Finance Director Zach Taylor said the company received 3.5 percent of the gross revenue cable providers make in town. In 2015, Milford TV’s budget was $429,076. with a staffing budget of about $162,000.

Selectmen praised the channel as a civic service and said they would like to see closed captioning and high definition broadcasts in the future.
