Money for Milford Projects Back in the State Budget

Funding for the Milford Youth Center, police, and Fino Field are back in the state budget.

MILFORD, MA—This week, lawmakers passed several budget overrides that reinstates funding for several projects in Milford. The overrides come on the heels of the line items previously being vetoed out of the state budget, according to an announcement from Sen. Ryan Fattman.

“Despite the long hours this week, it is satisfying to see towns in the district receive such significant funding”, said Sen. Fattman, R-Webster. “These funds will help boost and restore some local historical sites, and will help ramp up economic development in the area”.

The overridden items help to fund infrastructure, growth and improvements to the town, and the line items will continue to move through the funding process and eventually be dispersed.
