'My One Wish' Motorcycle Ride Returns to Milford This Labor Day

The ride will kick off from Scioli's in Milford.

Motorcyclists will once again gather in Milford for a good cause this Labor Day weekend.

The annual “My One Wish Labor Day Run” is set to return on Saturday, Aug. 30, hosted and organized by My One Wish, a Milford nonprofit that raises money to grant wishes to children battling illnesses; a “Wish Child” will be at the event to discuss their one wish.

The ride will take place on Saturday, Aug. 30 at Scioli’s Pizza Bar, 146 S. Main St. in Milford, with registration beginning at 9 a.m. and kickstands going up at 11 a.m.

The ride will commence along Rte. 140 northbound toward Mt. Wachusett and include a 45-minute rest stop, as well as refreshments at B-Man’s 140 Tavern in Sterling, returning to Scioli’s in Milford for an after-ride event. (In the event of rain, the party will still be held at Scioli’s beginning at 3 p.m.)

The event will include a DJ, inside bar, tee shirts for sale, a 50/50 raffle and gift raffles, buffet with pasta and other Italian food. The ride costs $25 per person, or $20 who can’t make the ride but wish to attend the after-party at Scioli’s. Advance tickets and “Run Tees” are also available for $15 each.
