New Mexican Restaurant Opens In Milford

The wait is over, Milford's newest Mexican restaurant is open for business.

MILFORD, MA — Milford's newest Mexican restaurant just opened on Wednesday and is ready for business. Taqueria la Estrella is located at 134 South Main St and took over the space where the old Carnivores All American BBQ was. The restaurant serves authentic Mexican food.

The new Mexican spot is owned by Milford resident Eusebio Ruelas, is also the owner of Acapulcos Mexican Family Restaurant and Cantina, a chain with a location on East Main Street. Ruelas is trying to expand his restaurant business to the other side of town.

The menu includes the classic tacos, burritos and quesadillas but there is also an impressive breakfast section. The breakfast section offers a Mexican twist on the traditional scrambled eggs as well as chilaquiles, which is a traditional Mexican dish that serves an over-easy egg atop rice and a fried tortilla mixed with red sauce, onions and cheese.
