Nite Lite Lounge Closes

The Nite Lite Lounge on Central Street closed last week. The liquor license has been transferred back to the property owner, who is seeking a new tenant.

The Nite Lite Lounge is no more.

The dance club closed last week, the property owner told town officials, ending a three-year run.

The property at 31 Central St. is owned by Ronald A. Pagnini Jr., of Central 31 Realty LLC. Milford Selectmen agreed to transfer the alcohol license back to him, until a new tenant is found.

The Nite Lite featured live music, DJs, and karaoke. It opened in 2010 and closed sometime last week, said attorney Laura Mann, who represents Central 31 Realty.

Mann and Pagnini told selectmen they hope to find a good tenant, who could reopen an establishment. "We want to maintain it, find a good tenant," Mann said.

The Nite Lite Lounge opened in 2010, taking the place of another club at that location. the liquor license for the location has been in effect for nearly 50 years.
