
A Blue Cross/Blue Shield sponsored senior walk was held on the and drew more than 100 seniors who were bussed in from several towns.
There were the from the Milford Senior Center, the Woburn Walkers, the Worcester seniors, a Natick walking group and the Bellingham seniors. "These regional walks are designed to encourage and support local walking clubs," according to Edward J. Pomfred, a registered nurse for the state Department of Public Health.
The seniors, some in their 80s, walked from the beginning of the trail behind the to off Dilla Street and some went to the end of the trail and back.
