Police Log: Car Reportedly Crashes into Pole on Whitewood Road

Sunday, Aug. 10
At 5:04 a.m., a caller reported a loud party in the area of Cedar Street to Milford Police.
At 9:17 a.m., a caller reported a blue Ford van with a ladder racks parked up on the curb and blocking the walkway to a residence, and the vehicle had reportedly been parked there for the past day. Officers responded and found the vehicle, which had been reportedly broken down, to be removed from the area.

At 3:41 p.m., a caller reported three young children had been throwing items in the road near Mazzarelli’s Bakery on Central Street.
At 4:05 p.m., a female party told police her purse had been stolen while at Eternal Images on Main Street. Purchases were reportedly made to her credit cards.

At 5:52 p.m., a caller spoke to police about a resident who had been seen allegedly urinating outside on Water Street.
At 8:39 p.m., a caller reported neighbors making a lot of noise in the area of East Main Street and requested police assistance.
At 9:50 p.m., police received multiple calls regarding a car that crashed into a pole on Whitewood Road. National Grid was notified of the incident, as the pole and a nearby mailbox were reportedly damaged.
