Police Log: Dine, Ditch and Crash, Stolen Coin Machine, and More

February 2

1:10 a.m. - A caller on Grove Street reported a past larceny of medication from his residence.

7:04 a.m. - A caller on Pheasant Street told police that a coin machine was stolen sometime after the Super Bowl from the laundry room.

10:04 a.m. - A two-car accident was reported at the intersection of Central Street and Joe’s Street.

7:28 p.m. - A two-car accident was reported on Purchase Street.

7:50 p.m. - A caller reported that a male party left TGI Friday’s without paying and started to do donuts in the parking lot. The male then crashed into a snowbank.

February 3

5:30 a.m. - A caller reported a car in a snowbank on East Street.

7:21 a.m. - Two bags of trash dropped off in the roadway by a SUV on Canali Drive was reported.

11:21 a.m. - A hit and run was reported at the intersection of Water Street and Main Street. The caller told police that a vehicle backed into him and the driver refused to exchange information.

12:26 p.m. - A motor vehicle accident with a plow was reported on Beach Street.

2:24 p.m. - A caller on Green Street stated that she was asked to move her vehicle so the plow could do the driveway. When she went back out, her vehicle was damaged and she was unable to move it.

2:33 P.M. - A vehicle speeding up and down Dogwood Lane doing donuts was reported.

5:56 p.m.- A caller reported a white motor vehicle on fire on Pearl Street.
