Police Log: Extortion, Larceny, and More

August 17

8:44 a.m. - A caller reported vandalism on the bike path fence on Dilla Street.

10:50 a.m. - A male reported stolen jewelry from a home on Stanford Circle.

12:22 p.m. - A stolen wallet was reported at Dunkin’ Donuts on Main Street. When police arrived, Molly Jeanty, 18, of East Brookfield, was arrested and charged with larceny from a building.

5:52 p.m. - A caller reported a vandalized mailbox on Purdue Drive.

7:37 p.m. - After police went to Pond Street regarding a reported larceny, one arrest was made and one summons was issued. A 15-year-old was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property over $250 and extortion by threat or injury. An 8-year-old female from Milford received a summons for receiving stolen property over $250 and extortion by threat or injury.

9:31 p.m. - A hit and run was reported on Winter Street.
