Police Log: McDonald's Customers Argue Over Alleged Watch Theft

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Wednesday, April 9 

At 7:13 a.m., Milford Police responded to a report of a car parked illegally on Main Street. 

At 8:41 a.m., police received a complaint regarding noise possibly coming from a business in the area of Beach Street.

At 12:16 p.m., a McDonald's employee requested police presence to address an argument between two customers, one of whom claimed the other stole a watch at the South Main Street restaurant. 

At 1:45 p.m., police received a report of past credit card theft.

At 2:21 p.m., the Milford Fire Department responded to a general smoke alarm on Pine Street, and determined on arrival that the matter involved a tenant who burnt food but no active fire was reported. 

At 3:31 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Main Street and Nelson Heights. 

At 5:41 p.m., police respond to a two-car accident in the area of Target, with one vehicle off to the side of the road. No injuries were reported. 

At 6:26 p.m., a caller reported to police that her mother had lost an envelope containing a large sum of money, as well as her driver's license. The envelope was last seen in the area of Big Lots and Dollar Tree on Rte. 140.
