Police Log: Multiple Disturbances, Arrests
These are selected items from the July 3-4 police log.

In the overnight police log, officers responded to several disturbances, including multiple complaints of fireworks being set off around town.
Sunday, July 3
3:46 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop, police arrested Samantha Devyn Mitchell, 17, of 115 Mechanic St., Apt. 19, Bellingham, on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop or yield, and failure to slow. Police also are seeking a summons to charge Tyler A. Varieur, 21, of 30 Ascension St., Blackstone, with allowing improper operation of a motor vehicle.

4:05 p.m.: A woman called to tell police she fears her former roommate broke into her house Friday while she was out of town. She already had a restraining order taken out against him, and requested extra patrols.
4:16 p.m.: Police received a report of an unwanted person at a home on South Main Street. The person was gone when police arrived.

4:36 p.m.: A caller from Luby Avenue reported someone stole the windshield wipers off his car overnight.
4:47 p.m.: Police received a report of broken windows at the Old Imperial building on East Main Street.
5:10 p.m.: A woman asked for police to speak to her husband, who she said was intoxicated and making threats against his own well-being. Police responded and later asked for an ambulance to take him to for evaluation.
5:49 p.m.: A caller told police three men at were causing a disturbance. The men were gone when police arrived.
7:05 p.m.: A caller told police someone threw a rock at his car while he was driving on Hayward Street.
8:04 p.m.: A caller asked for police assistance because her son was being aggressive and causing a disturbance at their home on Congress Street.
9:12 p.m.: Police responded to a home on Congress Street after receiving a report of a man throwing objects at a woman. Police arrested Richard J. Mabie, 48, of 99 Congress St., Milford, on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
9:22 p.m.: A caller on West Street reported a fireworks violation.
9:25 p.m.: A caller on Luby Avenue, and another on an adjacent street, reported fireworks being shot off in the area.
9:38 p.m.: A party was removed from after a disturbance was reported.
10:10 p.m.: An officer spoke to people on Meade Street and told them to not set off any fireworks.
11:24 p.m.: Several officers responded to Rogers Street for a report of an unwanted person. Police arrested Patrick Martin Breen, 30, of 13 Sycamore Dr., Leominster, on charges of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.
11:29 p.m.: A report of fireworks being shot off from a grey vehicle at was received.
11:45 p.m.: Police received several reports of fireworks being shot off from the vicinity of .
Monday, July 4
12:56 a.m.: Police received a report of loud music coming from West Pine Street.
1:29 a.m.: Police received another complaint about noise coming from the same address as above.
11:17 a.m.: Police an ambulance crews responded to an address on Fox Lane after a 55-year-old man fell off a ladder and was reported to be bleeding heavily from the head. The man was taken to the hospital.
