Police Log: OUI, Larceny, and More

September 22

5:53 a.m. - A caller on Franklin Street told police that his neighbor backed into his car and left without stopping.

8:18 a.m. - A person on Cherry Street told police that she heard a bang about 15 minutes before calling. When she looked out her window, it appears that the front bumper of a car in front of her house has been taken off. The accident did not happen at the location. The bumper fell off because it was being dragged while the car was in use.

6:15 p.m. - A stolen credit card was reported on Prospect Street.

10:01 p.m. - During a motor vehicle stop on Highland Street, Dirceu Santos, 42, of Milford, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding in violation of a special regulation.
