Police Log: Saxophone Stolen from Car on University Drive

The following information was provided by the Milford Police Department. Where arrests are concerned, they do not indicate conviction.

Tuesday, May 20

At 8:18 a.m., Milford police responded to the area of Highland Street and Annie J. Circle on a report of a two-car motor vehicle accident involving no injuries. 

At 3:27 p.m., a caller requested a check of an erratic operator seen pulling into the area of Rosa's Villa Pizza on West Street. The vehicle reportedly crossed the marked lanes on the road near the Upton town line.

At 4:02 p.m., police received a report of suspicious activity in the area of Cape Road, where a caller reported a black Chevy pickup truck was seen, occupied by two males wearing ski masks. Police responded and checked the area, and sent a be-on-the-lookout alert to surrounding towns. 

At 5:03 p.m., police received a report that a cell phone was taken from a vehicle while in the Shaw's parking lot on Prospect Street.

At 5:05 p.m., police received a request regarding a log entry detailing beer cans and other litter found on a front lawn on South Union Street. No damage to the property was reported. 

At 8:08 p.m., police received a report of loud music coming from a vehicle outside of a home on Water Street. 

At 8:40 p.m., a caller reported two male parties verbally argued with each other in front of TGI Friday's on Fortune Boulevard. Police responded to the area but were unable to locate anyone. 

At 9 p.m., police responded to Rite Aid on a request to check a vehicle that had been parked into the first spot of the business since earlier in the day. Police were unable to reach the registered owner. 

At 9:02 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious male party in the area of Jefferson Street. 

At 9:09 p.m., police received a report that a vehicle was broken into on Saturday on University Drive. A saxophone worth more than $600 was stolen from within the vehicle.
