Police Log: Shoplifting, Tree in the Road, and More

5:54 a.m. - A large tree in the middle of Kellett Drive was reported.

4:13 p.m. - A man who allegedly stole items at Hannaford on Medway Road was reported. After refusing to stop for loss prevention, police say he got into his vehicle and drive away. When police located the suspect, Jeffrey Lee, 33, of Brighton, was arrested and charged with shoplifting over $100 by concealing merchandise, larceny over $250, resisting arrest, and two counts of receiving stolen property under $250.

5:50 p.m. - A one-vehicle car crash was reported on Central Street,

5:24 p.m. - A two-car accident was reported on Cedar Street.

6:01 p.m. - An officer reported that he witnessed a car crash on Purchase Street.
