Police Log: Vandalism, Smashing Vehicles, and More

May 20

8:29 a.m. - Vandalism was reported at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery on Medway Road.

10:48 a.m. - A hit and run was reported on Fortune Boulevard near Lowe’s. An officer stated that the truck that left the scene may have been a landscaping dump truck.

3:00 p.m. - A two-car accident was reported on Walden Way.

4:12 p.m. - Hopedale police said they received a call for a red vehicle repeatedly smashing into another vehicle at Big Lots on South Main Street.

4:14 p.m. - A two-car accident on West and Dutcher Streets was reported.

6:11 p.m. - A walk-in reported that someone used one of her checks.

6:11 p.m. - A youth driving an electric Jeep was reported. The vehicle was swerving in the road and cannot be driven on a main road. The child was nowhere to be found.

7:38 p.m. - A caller at Best Buy on Fortune Boulevard reported unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. An office issued a summons to a 21-year-old male from Blackstone for use of a motor vehicle without authority.
