Police Log: Wires Down on Fiske Mill Road Due to Struck Pole

At 8:44 a.m., police received a report that a manhole cover had been sticking directly up in the air in the area of Bed Bath and Beyond on Fortune Boulevard.

At 9:02 a.m., a caller reported that a vehicle had possibly stalled out in a pool of water on Cedar Street.

At 11:17 a.m., police responded to Fiske Mill Road on a report of wires down. Upon arrival, officers determined that a pole on the left side ofthe road had appeared to have been struck.

At 11:33 a.m., police responded to a report of a two-car accident in the area of Spruce and Main streets involving a black Santa Fe and a red dump truck.

At 2:44 p.m., a caller reported that a flag had been removed from her property on Whip O Will Lane.

At 2:58 p.m., a caller reported that the owner of the shelter on Pheasant Circle allegedly took $50 from her wallet.

At 3:56 p.m., a female reported to police that medication had been stolen from her purse.

At 4:23 p.m., police received a report that a pair of shoes had been stolen on Purchase Street.

At 5:37 p.m., a caller reported a black or dark-gray Mazda occupied by one individual had been sitting in the area of Geneseo Circle for about 20 minutes. Police responded and determined the person to work for Comcast.

At 9:39 p.m., a caller reported a White Ford Eclipse racing up and down the street on Woodhill Road, the driver laying on his horn.
