Project Star - Donations for our Veterans at Home

This year
Project Star is collecting for two local veteran’s assistance groups who are
doing extraordinary work supporting those who have supported our country; Project New Hope (projectnewhopema.org)
and Veterans, Inc.
(veteransinc.org).   Please visit us on Memorial Day at the
Hopedale Community House, 43 Hope St., across from the Police Station.  Our event kicks off at 8:00am, in conjunction
with the town parade, and runs until 2:30pm. 
There will be a special appearance by JoJo the Magician at 10:30 am and he
will be making balloon animals for his audience after the performance.  There is a Confidence Course for the kids to
run, face painting, letter writing and picture coloring for the Marines at Camp
Leatherneck in Afghanistan and a raffle table. 
Food will be available at the Girl Scout food tent and representatives
of Project New Hope and Veterans Inc., as well as the Massachusetts National
Guard, will be on hand to speak to the public. 
There will be Hopedale Fire Department vehicles and the National Guard
will be bringing some special military vehicles.  Come visit our tents with a donation from the
Veterans Inc. wish list or a monetary donation to Project New Hope.  Thank you for supporting our Veterans!
