Selectmen End Winter Parking Ban

The daily winter parking ban has come to an end in Milford.

Monday night, the selectmen voted to lift the daily midnight to 6 a.m. winter parking ban according to the Milford Daily News. Instead, the town issue a ban when needed, using social media and an alert system to notify the public of the ban.

Police Chief Tom O’Loughlin proposed the new plan, noting that information can now get to residents faster than when the ban was put into place in 2006.
