Storms Plow Through Milford Snow Budget
Snow and ice costs in Milford are projected to exceed $1 million.

Like many communities in the state, the cost of snow removal in Milford has well exceeded the town’s budget.
To help alleviate the cost, Milford has filed for $160,000 in disaster relief funds from the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency to assist with the price of plowing and extra police staff according to WCVB.
After three major storms, the town’s snow and ice costs are projected to be over $1 million, twice the amount of the town’s $500,000 budget.
