Teen Struck by Vehicle on East Main Street

A teen has been transported to the hospital after an incident on East Main Street.

Police say the 14-year-old teen was hit by a car Sunday afternoon while attempting to cross the street.

One person sitting in his car near the scene told WHDH that he thought something hit his car when he heard a crack. When he got out to look at his car, he saw the teen in the street, with another person informing him of what happened to the teen.

The teen was taken to UMass Medical Center by helicopter. His condition is unknown.
