Three Races in Milford Election Get Challengers
Three contested races have emerged in the 2016 Milford Town Election.

The new year has just started but the races for town office are already heating up.
The School Committee, Parks Commissioner and Board of Selectmen all have contested races according to the Milford Daily News. Candidates have been able to pull papers for about a week. All papers are due back at Town Hall by mid-February.
In the school committee race, incumbent and vice chairman Joe Morais has two challengers in Mike Visconti and Scott Vecchiolla. There are two seats up for grabs.

School Committee member Patrick Holland will leave the committee this year in a bid for a spot on the Board of Selectmen. Incumbent Brian Murray has his eyes set on a sixth term.
In the Park Commissioner race, incumbent Paul Pellegrini has a challenge from Cesare Comolli.
