Two Arrested in Milford on Heroin Trafficking Charge

Two women have been arrested after allegedly distributing drugs in Milford.
Sophia Valenti, 19, of Salem and Angela Bigwood, 23, of Peabody, were arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with trafficking heroin, distribution of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, and conspiracy to violate drug law, according to the Milford Police Department.
Police took the two into custody at 3:42 p.m. during a traffic stop near the Mobil on Route 85. According to a press release, the arrests came after an extensive investigation into the two. During the arrest, police seized 20.3 grams of heroin.

The DEA Worcester HIDTA Task Force, Massachusetts State Police, the Blackstone Valley Drug Task Force, Hopkington police, and Franklin police assisted with the arrest.
