Upton Man Charged with Drunken Driving, Hitting Five Cars at Milford Target

Police say the man's truck caught on fire after he fled the scene of the incident.

An Upton man was arrested Friday night after allegedly hitting five cars, a light pole, and fleeing the scene on foot.

Ronald Peck, 49, was arrested and charged with drunken driving, driving with a revoked license, leaving the scene of property damage and driving a vehicle negligently so as to endanger, according to the Milford Daily News.

Police received a call from the scene at about 6:54 p.m. when a person observed the alleged incident take place in the Target parking lot. After Peck fled the scene, his truck caught on fire.

Peck was taken into custody after police found him in the woods near the Sports Authority,
