Woman Arrested for Stealing from Best Buy; Neighbors Complain About Card Players, Landscapers: Milford Police

Monday, Sept. 12

8:46 a.m.: Walk in states that her wallet was stolen, police headquarters

12:48 p.m.: Multiple callers reporting mva with injuries, South Main Street. Aurelio De Oliveira Gomes, 47, Weathersfield Street, Bellingham, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license

12:52 p.m.: Caller states that there was a male party yelling at her in front of Gene's Variety. Both were spoken to about road rage.

4:20 p.m.: Caller states landscaping company drives the lawnmowers up and down the roadway every week, Nancy Road

6:04 p.m.: Walk in requesting information regarding being harassed online via social media by mutual friends out of florida, they were advised. Colonial Road.

6:53 p.m.: Police respond to Best Buy for a report of shoplifting. Two females were being chased on foot by an employee. One female ran into CAP, the other possibly behind the Quality Inn. One woman was taken into custody. Jenifer Vega Alfaro, 26, unknown address, Boston, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise, larceny over $250, failure to furnish a name, resisting arrest. Concealed merchandise was a GPS.

9:26 p.m.: Neighbor calls on a group of men playing cards and children were running around playing. They were advised to keep the noise down. Bancroft Ave.

11:04 p.m.: Caller reporting individuals setting off fireworks on Louisa Ave.
