Woman Involved in Crash With School Bus Has Died

MENDON, MA— A passenger in a car that collided with a bus Wednesday morning has died, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Cheryl Drainville, 57, of Bellingham died from injuries received in the crash. The driver of the car, Richard Drainville, 33, of Woonsocket, R.I., remains hospitalized.

The bus was filled with children on the way to the YMCA, reports the Boston Herald. None of the children were hurt.

The crash, which occurred at Route 140 and Bates Street in Mendon, remains under investigation.
