66 Guns Found After Search of Milton Apartment

The search was a result of a shooting that took place early Tuesday morning.

Over 66 guns and ammunition were found yesterday by police after a domestic shooting in an Eliot Street apartment.

The guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition were discovered during a search of the apartment according to MyFoxBoston. Detectives are now seeking assistance from the ATF to review the legality of the weapons and determine if more charges are necessary.

Early Tuesday morning, Milton police responded to a disturbance at the apartment building. They were met at the front door by another resident of the building, who escorted them to an upper floor where a woman was found in the presence of the adult male suffering from obvious gunshot wounds, but still conscious and communicative with officers.

Authorities say that the woman, Jacqueline E. Scott, 63, of 36 Eliot Street, Milton shot the man twice during a domestic dispute. She is charged with armed assault with intent to murder and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.
