Armed Robbery Suspect Takes Milton Police on Chase Down I-93
Police say the suspect fled to the highway and went through Quincy, Braintree, Milton, and Dorchester.

MILTON, MA — A suspect in a Milton robbery took police on a chase through Quincy, Milton, Braintree, and Dorchester, police said.
At about 5:50 p.m. Friday, a masked suspect allegedly robbed the Techschis on Randolph Avenue, according to the Milton Police Department. While police were investigating, a similar crime was reported at the Pleasant Street Deli.
Witnesses were able to provide officers with enough information to locate the suspect's vehicle. When police signaled for the suspect to stop, the vehicle kept driving and fled down Interstate 93 South. At the Braintree split, a police cruiser crashed, but no injuries were reported, according to scanner reports.

After making his way off the highway in Braintree and driving through Quincy, Milton, and Dorchester, the suspect was apprehended near Gallivan Boulevard in Dorchester, police said.

The man, whose name has not been released, is being charged with two counts of armed robbery while masked, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and numerous motor vehicle charges.
