Best Buddies 5K Gobbler Returns to Milton
The 9th annual Milton 5K Gobbler for Best Buddies will be held on Saturday, November 19 in Milton.
On Saturday, November 19th runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in the 9th annual Milton 5K Gobbler for Best Buddies run/walk, which will commence at 9:00am at Cunningham School, 44 Edgehill Road, Milton, Ma.
Prizes will be awarded to top finishers by age category in addition to the coveted Golden Gobbler trophies, which will be presented to the top fundraising individual and teams.

Last year, over 800 participants and supporters throughout Massachusetts turned out for the event, which raised over $50,000 for Best Buddies Massachusetts. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event will help fund expansion of programs in middle school, high school and colleges throughout Massachusetts in addition to providing employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Registration: Individual and group on-line registration is $25 per person. Individuals raising $50 or more receive free t-shirt on race day.

Founded in 1989 by Anthony K. Shriver, Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment. The Best Buddies organization has grown from one original chapter to more than 1,300 middle school, high school, and college campuses across the country and internationally.
