Blessing of the Animals Sunday at St. Michael's

Calling all pets - four legged, two-winged, multi-scaled and fish-tailed!

In celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals, parishioners and pet owners are invited to attend St. Michael’s annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday October 4, at 5:30 pm. The blessing will take place in the Garden of Seasons adjacent to the church located at 112 Randolph Ave. in Milton. Participants are invited to bring their pets - including cats, dogs, turtles, fish and guinea pigs - to receive a blessing of good health and well-being. Children can also bring their favorite stuffed animals and dolls to receive a blessing. Rev. Hall Kirkham also plans to visit the Milton Animal Shelter and bless the many animals in need of families and homes. For more information, contact St. Michael’s Church Office at 617-698-1813.
