Boston Music Award Nominees, Honeysuckle, Play Progressive Folk at The Blue Moon Coffeehouse, Rockland, MA, Sat. Feb. 6th

Weekend local music at The Blue Moon Coffeehouse-- Boston Music Award nominees, Honeysuckle, take the stage playing progressive folk, Feb. 6

Saturday, February 6th at 7:30 p.m., The Blue Moon Coffeehouse in Rockland features the progressive folk trio Honeysuckle. Honeysuckle was recently nominated for the Boston Music Awards in two categories: Best Folk Artist and Best Americana Artist. They also played at the 2015 Newport Folk Festival as the Converse Rubber Tracks Artist winners. Holly McGarry, Benjamin Burns and Chris Bloniarz make up Honeysuckle. They currently have two releases, “Live at Rockwood Music Hall,” and their new EP, “Arrows.” They were one of the recipients of Passim’s 2015 Iguana Music Fund Grants and, with its help, they will be finishing a full length CD, which will be released at Club Passim in March. Between sets by the band there will be an open mike. Tickets are $10 at the door. Children 12 and under are free. The address is 45 Webster Street, Rockland, MA.
