"About half the humans and dogs walked the Houghton's Pond loop and grounds area while the other half hooked up their dogs to their bikes for a little dry land mushing in the surrounding trails.
"The event prompted many beachgoer families to suggest that we were Looking for Snow in All the Wrong Places as there were dogs and families from Milton, Boston, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Weymouth, Norfolk, Stoughton, Rockland, Raynham, Dedham, Randolph, Mansfield, and Brookline. No snow was found, but a good time was had by all nonetheless."
