Join Friends of the Blue Hills for a special autumn adventure! Hike to the summit of Great Blue Hill, then enjoy a BYO picnic dinner with a beautiful view while live music by Retro Rockets fills the air.

Guided hikes will be offered throughout the afternoon for those who would like to hike to the summit with an experienced hike leader. You’re welcome to make your own way to the summit. Just be sure to get there before sunset at 6:10 p.m.!

Heading to the park a little early? Swing by the ski area for some fall fun first!

The Blue Hills Ski Area will offer lift rides to the summit for a flat fee. The last lift up will be at 3:00 p.m. Please note that everyone will need to hike back down at the end of the event, by walking down the lit-up ski hill or the paved access road. Don't forget your headlamp!
