Car Crash Shuts Down Route 28

Six people were taken to area hospitals after a car accident Wednesday night.

Six people people were sent to hospitals Wednesday night after a two-car accident on Route 28.

Milton Deputy Fire Chief Brian Linehan told the Boston Globe that the accident was reported around 10 pm. on Aug. 27 near the intersection of Nahanton and Randolph Avenues.

Rescue workers needed a hydraulic tool to get five people out of one car while the other had only had the driver.
