Car Crashes Into Milton Building Over The Weekend

MILTON, MA – A Winthrop man was hospitalized over the weekend after his car went off the highway and struck the side of an office building in Milton, police said. The driver, 42, told police he was driving north on I-93 when he struck an object on the highway near Exit 9, causing him to lose control of his SUV.

The car left the highway and struck the side of 500 Granite Ave., according to police. The driver and sole occupant of the SUV was taken to Boston Medical Center.

Emergency crews and property inspectors responded to the scene.
