MILTON, MA — A public listening session on climate change, and how Milton is poised to react to it, will be held Feb. 13 in the Kelly Community Room at the Council on Aging. The session will summarize the recently completed Community Resilience Building Workshop on how climate change might affect Milton, and allow for comment.
This program is part of the state's Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program, which helps
cities and towns prepare for the impacts of climate change. The session will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Milton recently conducted a resilience-building workshop aiming to help identify the top natural climate-related hazards facing the town, to evaluate the strengths and vulnerabilities that exist and to develop and prioritize actions to help Milton be more resilient to dangers now and in the future.
